What color shoes can I wear with a knee length purple dress?

I have a wedding to go to in a couple of weeks and bought a knee length purple dress. The dress is an empire waist with the band bellow the chest having silver beading and gold sequence on it, so I'm sort of torn as to which color shoe I should go with. Please Help.
