I'm Moving! Please help!?

My husband and I are trying to move to Alabama. Life in New York is too difficult, too restrictive and definitely too EXPENSIVE!!! I've been looking into everything there is to look at, from airfare, to UHauls down to packing peanuts and box tape. I feel a little overwhelmed, considering I've never moved more than 20 miles from my parents house to our apartment. The problem is, I don't know how to do everything all at once!! I've sent out resumes for my husband to a couple electrical businesses in the area that were looking for help, but living 2000 miles away?!? How do you set up an interview or guarantee you have a job when you move? How do you view a house and purchase it at the EXACT same time the job offer comes through? Closing on the house takes two or three weeks in itself. And reserving a UHaul in advance?! When do I do that? Or transferring paperwork between schools, resigning from jobs, or telling my landlord this is our last month. See what I mean? Please help
