Really numb hand..help guys...thanks?

hello...my hand (except my middle, and thumb finger) are really numb...mostly the back of my hand...it tends to burn sometimes..and my hand has gone weak...also my little finger and ring seem to look like they are bending in towards my palm....ive been having these symptons (besides the bending) for 40 days now..am not sure if i should go see a doc? W hat do u think the doc will do? I tried my own splint...tried resting...everything. The numbness will not go away for nothing..its throughout the entire day and night....i keep it straight when i sleep and everything....whats the outlook of this? and what could it be? I dont remember injuring it...but i did do landscaping around...40 days ago...i havent went to the docs yet because ive been taking care of my ten month baby alot cause mommys fell ill with gall stones...bad month..haha...thank u guys very much..your all appreciated
