Do you need to glue on the window clips that mount the window to the window regulator when repacing it?

I would call the gl shop, for some of these can be replaced and many are part of the process when the gl was made. Due to safety I would check this out, so the gl does not fall into the door and break or cause harm to the one placing it inside the guide channel. Not knowing if it is power, or manual, or type of vehicle we are talking about. Makes research hard to give you a diffinite answer to the question.
